EG if Buck 2:1, Dan 2:1 and Goob 3:1 are one bet and the odds on Goob slip to 2:1 too then you go from a 12:1 to 8:1 which is no longer a potentially profitable outcome (though not a complete nightmare) but equally if Buck went to 4:1 you’d be looking at potentially getting 24:1.
